By using The Vaad Otzar website or mobile app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

The Vaad Otzar is a free library of Torah audio recordings, publications, photos, and videos, operated by a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Listening, browsing, searching, and downloading for personal use are free and require no account.

Acceptable use

The recordings and materials are provided for personal Torah study and may be shared freely for that purpose. You may not resell the recordings, misrepresent their source, use the service to send spam, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You may permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete my account.

Donations

Donations support the nonprofit’s mission and are processed securely by Stripe. Donations are generally non-refundable; if you made an error, contact us and we will do our best to help.

Canvas prints & merchandise

Physical products are printed and shipped by our fulfilment partner, Printify, at cost price. Production and shipping times are estimates. If an order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 30 days with a photo and we will arrange a reprint or refund.

Content & takedowns

Recordings are shared with the permission of the speakers or their institutions. If you believe any material appears here in error or infringes rights you hold, email us and we will review and remove it promptly.

Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
